Shoe Cobbler Turns Not-Louboutins Into Louboutins

In the latest round of events to piss of Christian Louboutin shoes, a cobbler at Andrade Shoe Repair has been resoling everyday, cheapo shoes with red bottoms to make them look like Louboutins. According to a post from Madison Avenue Spy, "customers are purchasing a variety of shoe brands and requesting he restyle the footwear with the red rubber he uses to resole his customer's Louboutins." Resoling actual Louboutins is usually necessary anyway (what with the zero traction and all) so why not just start applying the same red rubber onto regular shoes and really cash in?
For just $22-$32, the shoemaker will roll out his red vinyl and get to work on your shoes, but if you'd rather do this sort of thing in secret, there's also sellers on eBay hawking the same red vinyl.Christian Louboutin Specials Is 30 bucks worth the price of knowing you're basically doing the same thing the tourists are doing on Canal Street with their "Birkin bags"? Or is this just what Christian Louboutin has coming to him for deciding to patent a color?
