Of course, the MTV Movie Awards are a chance for celebs to show off their style without all the fuss of ridiculous hairstyles and millions of dollars in jewels to be responsible for. Still, christian louboutin boots the red carpet fashion still incorportates pretty much my favorite thing ever — judging people on their outfits. Though this year's ceremony involved significally fewer bombs than years past (remember Paris HIlton circa 2003 and the terror that was Lindsay Lohan's Pamella Roland pantsuit?), a there were few not-so-chic incidents. Check out my mini-critiques below.
Elle Fanning gets the main picture thanks to her amazing style that has yet to disappoint since coming on the Hollywood scene last year. The 13-year-old Rodarte muse was age-appropriately adorbz in a floral Dolce & Gabbana romper with matching wedges.
We only got a quick shot of Leighton Meester's "gracious loser" face after falling to Tom Felton as the Best Villain, but girl has some serious shine in a lovely long-sleeved beaded Balmain dress.
Hailee Steinfeld can usually do no wrong in my book and she took a huge risk wearing a black pantsuit in Los Angeles during June. As the newest face of Miu Miu, the 14-year-old actress should play up her whimsy instead of aging herself a few years (though she looks adorably chic while doing so),christian louboutin specials and while her hair and makeup look flawless, I'd much rather have seen her in something with more a bit more color and a little less pants. That sounds way creepier than I meant it.
Nikki Reed embraced the sheer trend when she hit the red carpet with her boyfriend Paul McDonald in a Heather dress. While the 23-year-old Twilight actress is in killer shape, she probably could have picked a more flattering dress. Still, no denying the girl's got killer gams and what better to show them off in than christian louboutin pumps.
And that's it! How do you feel about this year's red carpet fashion? Remember to look out for more red carpet fashion through tonight and tomorrow!
